Therapy Box was recommended to them by a previous client, as a developer who have experience in developing products for accessibility. Therapy Box and Glenallen worked together to plan out accessibility and ease-of-use features for pupils at the school.

Project output

The switch reader app allows full usage of all ePUB and PDF files that the children´s books will consist of. Continuous reading mode makes it easy for switch users to quickly turn through pages, and an auditory support option uses synthetic speech to make books accessible to users with vision impairment or who are unable to read the book. The library pages and book control pages are fully switch accessible, giving full control over to the user. Manual and auto scanning options are available. Settings can be controlled by a parent or carer.
