A website aimed at giving information to the public on speech therapy and helping them find therapists in their local area. The websites provides search functions and the ability to browse a map to find speech therapists in your local area. There are profiles on each individual therapist to help you make a decision on who is best placed to help you.
The new website was developed for the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice (ASLTIP).
The Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice (ASLTIP) provides support to independent speech therapists and they help members of the public who are searching for a private therapist.
Therapy Box was asked to design and develop an entirely new website for ASLTIP to increase traffic and engagement once users reached the site.
The new website contains important information on the ASLTIP organisation and on finding a speech therapist. We’ve included pages for news updates, an events calendar, opinion polls and social media feeds.
A password protected, members only, section of the website was acts as a repository for storing information. There are also two levels of administrator access for maintaining and updating the website.
We have built the new website with responsive design so that it can be easily accessed on mobile devices.
There is the option to search for a therapist by postcode or to browse on a map. Users can refine their search using filters including age-range and specialisms.
Each therapist has their own personal profile page which can be easily be updated if they change their details. ASLTIP board members have access to a specially built backend which allows them to moderate ASLTIP member forums and update the website with new content.
