The CognoSpeak team was shortlisted for the Excellence in Patient and Public Involvement in Transformation and Innovation Award at the Innovate Awards. The Awards are a collaboration between the AHSN Network, which operates as the innovation arm of the NHS in England and acts as the collective voice of the 15 academic health science networks (AHSNs); and the NHS Confederation, the membership body representing healthcare in the UK.
While the team did not win on the night, it was an excellent opportunity for teh team to come together and celebrate the achievements of the collaboration, which includes NIHR Devices for Dignity Medtech Cooperative, University of Sheffield, Israac Community Association, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS FT. The team is working to build AI health technology without bias in the field of cognitive assessment.
